I’ll forever love looks that combine the classics: stripes, good denim, red, white, and blue. I also love high waisted denim and a shorter, more boxy top. I find it to be a flattering, easy to wear silhouette. It also works well for me with Ivy, especially a higher rise with a looser leg. It means it’s easy to sit on the floor making the cut of denim a mom favorite for me. You’ve seen this exact pair (on sale!) on the blog here with a black tee and here with a red and white striped tee. I’ve also worn my culottes with a shorter top here and my cropped flares (also on sale!) with a flowy top here (both high wasited denim). In real life, I’ve mixed and matched all pairs of denim with all these tops.
To be honest, I just love high waisted denim. It sucks you in and make your legs look long! This is my favorite pair of high waisted skinny jeans.
