Is anyone else super picky about your cardigans? I swear, they are either too chunky and not flattering, have weird collars, or are too short. I’m always on the hunt for the right one. I stumbled on this one in Gap when I was shopping with my mom. If you are keeping a tally, that means I bought the boyfriend jeans seen here, the knotted sweatshirt seen here, this cardigan, and a dress yet to come. I know, I scored! I hadn’t done much shopping in a while, so it was nice to find a few things. Anyway, back to today’s post, I loved the cream cardigan and cream blouse (similar) together with my favorite distressed jeans. Monochrome layers are always a good idea if you aren’t sure what to wear.
I shared a pic of this ootd on my Instagram stories when I wore it. I have been trying to do that more, especially when I know it’s an outfit that may not make the blog. Let me know if you all are liking that. Today is my first day back at work after maternity leave. My mom is keeping Ivy until she is a little older and can go to daycare after flu/rsv season, so I know she is in good hands. It has made going back to work so much easier. Russ and I are so thankful for her!

This pretty cream blouse was last seen here. Here is the current version of it.

This cardigan looks so good on you! I guess I’m picky about cardigan also since I rarely find ones I like. I hope the first day back went well! You guys are so lucky to have your mom close by!

I think that that cardi is very chic. It’s a great colour, a perfect length on you and also falls quite nicely to create a tapered look.
You have styled it beautifully with boyfriend jeans and boots.

The cardigan is so pretty, very classy being in white. I totally understand because I am very particular about cardigans also.

It’s so pretty, Amy! I love the slits and the length…though it might come down to my ankles haha but that’s okay too! That’s great about your mom. I know how stressful it can be to adjust to leaving baby at home…nice to have them in good hands.

I love a good cardigan and this one definitely seems like a winner! That’s so great to have your mom watching your baby girl – it takes away some of the added stress of having to go back to work!

This is such a refreshing Spring look! I love that cardi and YES it is hard to find a good one. I was so sad, I had my favorite cardi draped over my bag when we were in Italy last summer and it slipped off. I never found it again and still haven’t found one to replace its color/shape. 🙁 Hope Ivy has fun at your moms! 🙂

Well, I need to go the Gap, haha! I love both your cardi you’re wearing today and those super cute jeans! How wonderful that your mom is taking care of Ivy while you go back to work, there’s no better hands than grandmas; I’m sure she’s excited to spend EXTRA time with her, too! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you’re having a great week so far!

I’m also super picky about sweaters (in general) because I feel like they are often unflattering on me. I like the look of your cardigan – I may have to stop in Gap.

I love this look – the long cardigan is gorgeous and it’s nice to have simple, easy pieces to throw on to be warm and pull together an outfit. Plus the metallic heels on the booties are everything!
