Is anyone else super picky about your cardigans? I swear, they are either too chunky and not flattering, have weird collars, or are too short. I’m always on the hunt for the right one. I stumbled on this one in Gap when I was shopping with my mom. If you are keeping a tally, that means I bought the boyfriend jeans seen here, the knotted sweatshirt seen here, this cardigan, and a dress yet to come. I know, I scored! I hadn’t done much shopping in a while, so it was nice to find a few things. Anyway, back to today’s post, I loved the cream cardigan and cream blouse (similar) together with my favorite distressed jeans. Monochrome layers are always a good idea if you aren’t sure what to wear.
I shared a pic of this ootd on my Instagram stories when I wore it. I have been trying to do that more, especially when I know it’s an outfit that may not make the blog. Let me know if you all are liking that. Today is my first day back at work after maternity leave. My mom is keeping Ivy until she is a little older and can go to daycare after flu/rsv season, so I know she is in good hands. It has made going back to work so much easier. Russ and I are so thankful for her!

Definitely pinning this for inspiration! It’s hard to find the perfect cardigan, for sure, but I see why this one fits the bill. So beautiful!

Those boots! Oh, how I swoon! And the cream on cream is so striking and just gorgeous. I am with you on the search for the perfect cardigan. I have a closet full of “almost” perfect cardigans!
Hello spring! I love the lighter layers and colors on you??And those boots are so fab too. You totally scored at Gap, I seriously need to check it out. I’m sure the dress you picked up is equally as fab. I hope your first day back at work wasn’t too hard.
The colours suit you perfectly. So lovely.
This outfit is stunning! Love the monochrome top & sweater
These creams look great with your distressed jeans. Seriously Loving those booties! I am really glad to hear your mom will be helping out as you head back to work initially. That will certainly make the transition easier.
You look so chic Amy! I love the cream blouse with the jeans. Perfect combination,
Sending much love!

I have big boobs; sadly I can’t fit button down shirts as simple as this one. I’m planning on getting a few made because I love this look. I can’t believe you found this cardigan at the Gap! What a find 🙂
I hear ya!! Love the color, and little slits through the cardigan though. 🙂

I’m a cardigan addict, but I know what you mean about it being hard to find a good one! I love that one, especially with the blouse in the same color–so pretty! That’s so nice that your mom is watching Ivy until she gets a little older, how wonderful!!
