Is anyone else super picky about your cardigans? I swear, they are either too chunky and not flattering, have weird collars, or are too short. I’m always on the hunt for the right one. I stumbled on this one in Gap when I was shopping with my mom. If you are keeping a tally, that means I bought the boyfriend jeans seen here, the knotted sweatshirt seen here, this cardigan, and a dress yet to come. I know, I scored! I hadn’t done much shopping in a while, so it was nice to find a few things. Anyway, back to today’s post, I loved the cream cardigan and cream blouse (similar) together with my favorite distressed jeans. Monochrome layers are always a good idea if you aren’t sure what to wear.
I shared a pic of this ootd on my Instagram stories when I wore it. I have been trying to do that Β more, especially when I know it’s an outfit that may not make the blog. Let me know if you all are liking that. Today is my first day back at work after maternity leave. My mom is keeping Ivy until she is a little older and can go to daycare after flu/rsv season, so I know she is in good hands. It has made going back to work so much easier. Russ and I are so thankful for her!

I like the creams together! That looks like a really ncie cardi! π I know what you mean with cardigans too, I’m hoping to add more to my wardrobe in the winter sales once my 6 months no shopping challenge is over but I rarely find ones that are cosy without being bulky.
It’s awesome your mum can help take care of Ivy – it does make the return to work much easier knowing your daughter is in good hands π Your mum did a wonderful job raising you so you know she will do so with Ivy too! π We had our parents helping us with childcare when I returned to work earlier with my eldest, it made such a difference. We don’t have the opportunity at the moment due to health/work changes for them which is part of the reason I’m delaying my return a little until baby’s older.

I love how soft and pretty the cream blouse and cream cardigan look together. Those jeans with the big holes on the knees make it all modern, mom-ready and edgy, though. I cannot stop buying cream and white blouses. They are so versatile.
