It’s the last post of my five part series about transiting your wardrobe into spring with Jo-Lynne! If you haven’t been following along, you can catch up on day one (swapping your shoes), day two (wearing brighter colors), day three (opting for lighter layers), and day four (wearing cropped jeans). I would love to hear your thoughts on the series and if it has been helpful to know if you would like to see this type of thing again. If you have liked it, I would love for you to pin my graphic below with all the tips to save. Don’t forget to check out Jo-Lynne’s post too!
How to Transition Your Wardrobe from Winter to Spring – Lighter Fabrics
Visit Jo-Lynne Here
Honestly I am glad we saved this topic for last as this outfit and post sums up many of the posts before! All my other posts have been pretty thorough, picture/example heavy, and filled with tips while this one sort of speaks for itself. One of the easiest and best ways to transition your wardrobe from winter to spring is to leave your heavy fabrics like bulky sweaters and cardigans behind! Instead reach for lighter fabrics like blouses, t-shirts (long or short sleeve), or cotton tops. Each post I have shared this week has been a great example as they have all been lighter tops.
Outfit Details
I recently snagged this adorable peplum blouse at Madewell. They are one of my go-to places for high quality, unique, and pretty pieces. I loved the color and fit of this top. Since it is still too cool to wear alone, I layered it with my suede moto jacket (similar on sale) I lauded on Wednesday’s post as the perfect spring layer. I opted for a peep toe bootie which I suggested as a perfect shoe swap on Monday’s shoe post (see it for link options for my shoe). All in all, this outfit sums up many of our tips this week!
