So are you a family photo junkie like me?? I LOVE family photos and we try to take them every fall for Christmas cards. We will be taking ours next weekend. This year we are actually taking them with my extended family which I am thrilled about! I love having photos with my family every couple of years. I know outfit planning for family photos can be stressful, so I wanted to share what I would be wearing in case you are on the lookout for fall family photo outfit ideas.

What to Wear for Family Photos
I have also shared a post in the past all about what to wear for family photos to help you plan your outfits. It breaks down the best outfit combinations to make it easy for you! I know it can be stressful. I include seasonal examples. You can also see our previous family photos below:

Fall Family Photo Outfit Idea Dress Details
This main thing that drew me to this dress was the colors. I knew I could basically find any other print or solid for my family and it would coordinate without a problem. I loved that it had both fall colors (rich golds/orange) and Christmas colors (reds and pretty turquoise/green) so no matter which way I decided to go for a color scheme it would work. You could easily go boho with booties and a fall vibe or red heels and more of a Christmas feel.
As I mention in my blog post linked above, I love starting with a main print (usually me since I am the pickiest), adding a second print in, then adding in other solids/neutrals for the rest fo the family.

We try to take family photos every year too! I want to do a photo wall on the steps to the basement with a photo from each year. I love seeing how the family changes!
I love the print of your dress! So perfect for fall or holiday family photos!
