I am so excited to be sharing our winter family pictures plus tips on what to wear for family Christmas tree farm photos! I have always wanted to take ultra Christmasy photos with trees, and Christina Ratzlaff knocked it out of the park with these! She actually set up a mini Christmas tree farm in her backyard. The photos were so easy and so much fun.
I am going to cherish these forever! This season with Ivy Jean, both Advent and life in general, has been such a joy. At just over three, she is a true delight to us. We have genuine fun being her parents and are grateful for the gift of her life.
What to Wear for Family Christmas Tree Farm Photos
Ever wondered what to wear for family Christmas tree farm photos? Or just family photos in general? I’ve written a post with some tips in the past here. I personally love planning family photo outfits! I knew I wanted this to be ultra Christmasy and classic: reds, plaids, etc. I’m linking everything in the thumbnails for you.
We took one dressy set and one more casual. The end result was just so much fun with the color of the trees! I think as long as you have one solid in the bunch, you can mix in two prints that coordinate which is what I did for both sets. I usually start with one outfit/print in mind, pick a second coordinating print, then add in solids and accessories. There is more detail and other examples in my previous post though.

Beautiful pictures, and your smiles say it all ? Great tips for family photos too! I have always admired families that look so fabulously coordinated, yet different. We were blessed with a beautiful daughter, also our only, and this Christmas, she got married to the love of her life!!
