I’m back with my third post in my mini capsule wardrobe series, and today we are talking about 4 ways to style a white t-shirt all using the 13 pieces I picked for my capsule. You can see post one here and post two here. I you missed them, I recommend catching up. Great closet basics and restyling ideas. I think everyone has a white t-shirt in their closet, so hopefully everyone can take some inspiration from this post. I have honestly loved doing this capsule myself. It’s been a learning experience for me personally. I often fall into the trap that I need new clothes to be able to create new outfits, but this has been proof that I just need to be creative. All of these outfits are so different from each other, especially look one and two. I just love that! My exact t-shirt is old, but this is a really similar great quality one I recommend.
Option #1 – White Shirt with Chambray Outer Layer
You first saw this look on Friday’s post, so I won’t go too in depth with it. I love the all white with a chambray shirt as a layer instead of a traditional jacket.
Option #2 – White T-Shirt with Leather Jacket
Too me, the leather jacket and regular colored jeans make this look much edgier. It has a totally different vibe than look one which is light. I added a baseball cap for a fun change. Proof of how much our accessories can change a look!
Option #3 – All White with a Utility Jacket
Similar to look one except I swapped my chambray for a utility jacket. I love my utility jacket and have had it for years! This is a very similar one, and if you don’t have one in your closet, I highly recommend adding one. I’d be curious to hear what your most worn jackets are?
Option #4 – Utility Jacket with Regular Jeans
A good way to mix things up is to consider tying your white t-shirt in a knot. In my photos before I have it in a front tuck or totally untucked. It is amazing what a difference a small change like a tie will do to visually differentiate things when you are trying to wear what you have but achieve a different look. Compare this look to the one right above it. Even with the same t-shirt and jacket, don’t these look very different? All I swapped are my jeans and shoes!

Gosh I love a white t-shirt! They literally go with everything! I also love the idea of a capsule wardrobe. Lately I feel very excited for warmer weather and Spring so the temptation to buy a bunch of new clothes is so high. But, helpful reminders like this post keep me from going too crazy!
