Are you a t-shirt lover like me? Or do you have a work place or lifestyle that is by nature casual? I’m raising my hand! This past year has been one of major transitions for me as I left my job to stay home with our precious girl. I’m a fashion lover my nature. I still want to look cute, but I also cannot ignore the reality of my life everyday. I’m here to deliver how to wear a t-shirt with jeans. Today you’ll find 5 fun and easy ways to make this casual combo feel fresh and new!
How to Wear a T-Shirt with Jeans – 5 Fun & Easy Ways to Make This Casual Combo Feel Fresh
1. Consider a Graphic T-Shirt or Band Tee
Graphic t-shirts and band tees are majorly trending right now! If you are tired of all your regular rotation of t-shirts, consider adding a new take with a graphic tee. I recently posted this fun rolling stones option along with multiple other similar ones all for $25 and under. I also snagged this Aninie Bing shirt (a splurge) which I styled here.
2. Try a Fun Print
Trying a fun print like leopard or snakeskin is a great way to mix up your usual t-shirt. Snakeskin is having a major moment this fall! You can grab my exact snakeskin t-shirt here. My second leopard one featured is still in stock here. Both of these prints really function as neutrals, so it is really easy to add a fun shoe with them to further make this combo fun and new.
3. Pick a T-Shirt with Extra Details
Instead of going for a plain t-shirt, pick on that functions just like a t-shirt, i.e. cotton and super comfy, but has those extra details. Think ruffle sleeves like my striped one below (only $15!), a henley button front, a peplum hem, a tie waist like my purple one below, etc. All of these will be equally as functional in your wardrobe, but you will feel way more dressed up without doing anything!
4. Consider Knotting Your T-Shirt
A simple and basic white t-shirt can be so much fun by just adding a knot to the front.
5. Tie a Shirt at Your Waist
When all else fails, grab your stand-by chambray shirt and tie it around your waist. It adds instant polish and defines your waist!

I love all of these looks on you. The leopard tee might be my favorite. I need to check out those Madewell button fly jeans too, they look great. I have a band tee from the Def Leppard concert I went to that I may style with a blazer once it gets colder!

I’ll always be a t-shirt and jeans kinda girl 🙂 I do need some fresh new options though! I usually buy a couple new tees per season, just so I feel more current. You can’t go wrong, and I normally just buy them at Target or H&M for cheap! Love all of your outfits here!
