Aside from things I have been gifted and a Christmas gift card I used (hello, sock booties), I haven’t bought anything the last month or so. Instead I’ve been cleaning out my closet and focusing on wearing my favorite basics or staple pieces. Some of the sweaters I’ve worn (like my black turtleneck seen here) are ones I have had for years. That’s the great thing about staple pieces. Same goes for today’s neutral look. This gray sweater is a couple years old. My tan coat is at least 3 or 4 years old. These jeans are a newer purchase but only because I wore a hole in my old pair. All that to say, I hope you don’t mind! The nice part about it is that I can always find really similar pieces for you.
I’m loving this camel coat or this one. Seriously such a great piece to invest in for years to come! This is a great gray sweater. Neutrals are always a good idea in my book!

You look fabulous in your camel coat. The color really suits you! Completely love the outfit.
I needed a change and white jeans has been heavy in the rotation the last few weeks. Love the neutral look.
I love seeing how people remix their closet staples! We all have similar items and they are classic pieces that can be worn time and again so I always love the inspiration!
Gorgeous neutrals, this is totally my style!
Have a lovely day 🙂

I love classic pieces! I’m actually wearing a sweater today that’s very similar to yours. It was given to me by Erica last year after it got a little too short for her!

I think it’s great to buy pieces that work for many years and you still like year after year!! xo, Biana –BlovedBoston
I love that camel coat. I’ve thought about investing in a really good one for years but have a hard time justifying it when I don’t even wear coats every day in a San Antonio winter.

All of the neutrals look so nice together! 🙂 When I did my 6 months without shopping it was interesting how many outfits I could come up with and how little I was bored by my wardrobe – I definitely don’t need to buy a lot to have ideas of things to wear! 🙂
Thank you for the link up!
Hope that you are having a good week so far! Busy week here for me now that I’m back at work after my break.

Love everything about this outfit and you found yet another way to wear white jeans–you are rocking them so well! My camel and gray coats are the most worn in my closet by far…neutrals for the win!
