A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

October 23, 2017

A trip to the pumpkin patch!

This weekend we took Ivy Jean on her first trip to the Pumpkin Patch. There is a place here called Carmichael’s Pumpkin Patch that is legend. They have a full on petting zoo, photo ops, pony rides, and more. I grew up going there with my sister, mom and dad, and grandparents. It is so much fun to start the same tradition with our sweet girl. We even took her in the Radio Flyer wagon that was ours as kids. It was a bit chaotic (and windy!), but so much fun.

The best flannel for fall – my outfit details.

A note on my top, it is sooo soft. It’s a plaid but not a flannel material and comes in multiple colors. It’s nice and long and thinner than a true flannel, so it would be a great layer. I almost bought the actual flannel option too and think I still may (also comes in multiple colors). These are the types of shirts I wear all fall and winter in all different combos. Either option would be so great for family photos. The red and white tartan in the flannel have me thinking about Christmas card pictures! Both options are a steal at $30 and often go on sale.

I LOVE this next series of pictures. This is her little personality in photos. She is such a ham right now.

Awww, Ivy Jean is darling. I love that little ruffled sweater on her… adorable!! You look perfectly festive for the pumpkin patch as well. You’re both going to love looking back on these photos–what a fun memory! Violet keeps getting the pumpkin patch shaft–I was still pregnant when we went last year, and this year I just went with Jona’s preschool class. Maybe next year she’ll get to come along!

Omg, I can’t handle all this cuteness!! I love those last photos, Ivy Jean is the cutest and how cute does she look?! I love that ruffle sweater, adorable, and mama, you look gorgeous! Aren’t these the perfect activities to do with with the little ones?! We went apple picking this past weekend with Aviah. Even though she had no idea what we were doing, lol, it was great to have her senses stimulated and start a family tradition. Up next, pumpkin picking! Thanks for sharing, beautiful, and I hope you have the most amazing week ahead!
