I have always shied away from buying backless dresses because I felt like I was too old to wear them. And let’s face it, I am. Buuuttt I always see them and think they are so cute. This white lace one in particular was hard to pass up. Then it hit me: I could wear a layer underneath! Why I had never thought of styling a backless dress like this before I’ll never know. I haven’t had the opportunity to actually wear this outfit yet, but you better believe the next date night Russ and I have this baby is coming out!

Great idea! And I love that it helps keep you warmer and shows off the pretty lace straps, too! I am often freezing so I like to look for dresses that cover up a bit more. This is a great solution!
