Holiday Shopping at Utica Square

December 17, 2016

Merry Christmas from Utica Square! Located in the heart of Tulsa, Utica Square is an upscale outdoor shopping and dining area.

Holiday shopping at Utica Square is so much fun. As a long time Tulsa resident, I love how Tulsans flock to Utica Square during the season. Everything kicks off with the annual “Lights On” tradition on Thanksgiving Day. It always feels so festive to bundle up and see the whole shopping area come to life with Christmas lights. It’s the official start of Christmas season and part of many families’ yearly traditions. I always love seeing the photos on my Facebook feed.

Speaking of traditions, Utica Square boasts Santa’s House where many kiddos make their trip to see the jolly old man. The house is the cutest! I cannot wait to start taking Ivy and make our own family traditions. I do a lot of my Christmas shopping (and regular shopping…who am I kidding) here. With coffee, good restaurants, great shopping, and good atmosphere, it’s just a happy place to be. Especially around the holidays. Some of my favorite restaurants are actually nestled in Utica Square. Since I like to eat almost as much as I like to shop, it’s the ideal combination. Okay, maybe it’s a dangerous combination. But I’m a glass half full kind of person.

I’d love to know what are some of your favorite holiday shopping destinations and traditions? I’m a bit of a sucker for traditions.

Utica Square sounds amazing, especially for the holidays. One day when I come visit Tulsa I will make sure to stop by. Of course if I visit, I’d love to have a long coffee date with you, too.

In Michigan, a popular mall which is upscale is Somerset Collection.

I have heard such good things about Utica! I’ve never been myself (I’ve only been through Tulsa), but my mother-in-law makes several trips up to Tulsa every year JUST to shop at Utica! I’ll give you a ring next time I make it up to Tulsa so we can go together- and I can meet you and Ivy in person!

Sounds like an amazing area to go holiday shopping hun! I love shopping at the Grove or the Americana (both in California) because they’re both outside, and both shopping centers decorate the entire square in such a gorgeous, festive ways πŸ™‚ Have a great week hun!

I will have to finish my holiday shopping tomorrow. I really do not like it to be honest – I do not like crowded places and it is difficult to find not crowded places during christmas season πŸ˜€
    Sending much love!

It sounds like a lovely place to visit! πŸ™‚ I always have a Christmas shopping day with the family near Christmas but we don’t always go to the same place to do so. We do get our Santa photos every year – it will be so fun when you take Ivy for her first ones! πŸ™‚

Hope you are having a great weekend πŸ™‚

My christmas shopping tradition comes the day after Christmas: we always hit up Ala Moana Mall in Honolulu, where they have the greatest after-Christmas sales.

I don’t have any shopping destinations for Christmas. I just gather the gifts everywhere. Lovely

This sounds like the spot to shop during the holiday season! And I love the light flip on Thanksgiving night- The Plaza in KC does this and it immediately makes everything feel like Christmas.
