I have been loving everything at Target lately. This week on Instagram I am participating in a little Target share week which inspired me to order a few things. I thought today I would do a little spring Target try on. I’ll be sharing a few full blog posts with a couple of these pieces later this week as well. I specifically tried to pick things that could be worn several ways and were easy to mix and match. I wanted to show you how to do that in this post!
Spring Target Try On – Gingham Ruffle Sleeve Blouse & Black Paper Bag Waist Shorts
This adorable gingham ruffle sleeve blouse is just $20!! Such a steal and SO cute! It’s a linen blend and comes in several colors. It runs true to size and can be worn just as easily with shorts as it can with jeans. The black shorts shown on the left side of this photo are also from Target and just $20!! They also come in several color and are true to size. With a 3.5 in inseam, and I love them for a dressier option for shorts than a denim. They don’t have an actual zipper, just pull on elastic waist.
Pink Top & Gingham Shorts – Both Just $25
I LOVE the color of this pink top and have already worn it several times! Paired with jeans, it is the perfect early spring outfit. It has a slight puff sleeve which is really trending right now. It has pretty eyelet detailing. I’m wearing a small, and at 5’10 the arms are a bit short but not too bad. I thought the print of these linen blend shorts were really cute, and I loved the longer more modest length (4 in inseam). However, I ended up returning them though because I felt like they were a little big. I would recommend sizing down.
Ruffle Shoulder Chambray Top
Of everything in my spring Target try on, this top has ended up being my favorite. I’ve worn it several times already. It’s such a twist on a staple piece! I love the slight acid wash and fun ruffle shoulder. It does have a slightly boxy cut which makes it perfect to front tuck or tuck in fully. I love it with jeans or both shorts I have already mentioned, and it also comes in regular chambray.
Floral Top
Last but not least is this pretty floral top that could easily be worn to work with slacks or on the weekend with jeans. I loved the unusual neckline shape. It’s a light and comfy fabric for spring.

That pink top is so pretty, actually all of the pieces are! Target has so many good patterns and colors this spring it’s hard not to fill my cart up on the regular. I find it so hard to resist, especially when the prices are so good! Have a super week Amy Ann!
