When I got this pretty mint sweater from Seraphine, I knew a mint and white combination was in my future. I added hints of tan in my vest, favorite bag, and lace up heels. It’s the perfect way to style white jeans for fall.
I’m excited to be joining Laura of Walking in Memphis in Heels and Erin of The Fashion Canvas for their weekly Trend Spin Linkup. It’s usually on Tuesday, but since that isn’t a regular post day for me, I am sharing a little early. The theme is jeans, so be sure to linkup below!
We had a great, low-key weekend with a date on Friday night where I wore this outfit. Did you catch my Instagram story? I found out I do have gestational diabetes. After a bit of crying and Netflix binging (just being real here), I got myself together and met with the diabetes educator. She was seriously so wonderful! She was so reassuring and gave me some great tips and information. We checked my sugars which were great. I think most of what I need to do is work on portion control and curbing my sweet tooth over the weekend. Anyone else always indulge more on the weekend? I have always been interested in nutrition and actually find all of this kind of fascinating. While pricking my finger and not stuffing my face with Halloween candy aren’t fun, the most important thing is keeping the baby healthy. Thank you all for your kind comments and encouragement along the way. You’re the best, and I am thankful to share this crazy and wonderful journey that is pregnancy with you.

I love the mixing of the pastel mint and the brown suede. Thinking of you and praying for a healthy baby – believing God will work it all out even if it is not what you wanted.

I love this color combo on you Amy Ann. Sorry to hear about your digestional diabetes, that’s must have been disappointing to hear. My mom is a diabetic, so I hear ya with having to constantly prick your finger and watch what you eat. One thing that has helped her is cutting out refined sugar( I know, no fun ) But I still bake her all kinds of regular treats but I use coconut sugar or applesauce ( homemade) or even pineapple as sugar alternatives. I swear you can’t tasted the difference. Anyhow, hang in there you’re so close to meeting your little one ?
