The Sweater You Need for Fall

August 15, 2016

Well it’s official, this is the sweater you need for fall. The Blogger Nation babes and I are teaming up one last time this season to style pieces from Sage Threads & Co. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Sage several times now, and it is the best online boutique! If you are in the Austin area, she has a shop there too. I’ve discovered some great brands through the site like Knotted Sisters and Gentle Fawn. She also carries Free People and some seriously good denim lines (Blank NYC, Levi, Articles of Society, etc). This criss cross Free People sweater is so flattering (even on my bump), and I love the detail on the sleeves too. It’s a great tunic style length. You can see how Jenna styled it here. Although it’s too hot here for me to wear this just yet, it has me itching for fall!!

I hope you all had a great weekend! I had another baby shower to attend for a friend (so fun!), and it was also my parents 40th wedding anniversary. Isn’t that amazing?! I have the best family, and I am so thankful for parents who are committed to each other and have shown me how to love, not just in words but in action. Not too many people get to say their parents have been married for 40 years. The older I get, my gratefulness for them just increases. They have been so supportive of Russ and me in each stage of life, especially as we walked through infertility. I don’t know what I would do without them!

That criss cross neckline and the slits on the sides are my favorite components of this sweater! I also love the neutral color. That baby bump is looking mighty cute on you! Happy Anniversary to your parents! Mine have been married FOREVER, too!!

While I totally love this sweater (and the baby bump I’m seeing under it!), I am terrified to even think about needing one already. I’m going to bookmark this and wait at least one more month! Lo!

I love that your sweater looks easy and not chunky. What a great color and cross detail! And yes, I was writing a post for the blog this week about how the husband and I have been married for 7 but together for 10. 40 years is amazing and makes my heart happy to think about! Have a great week!
