Well it’s official, this is the sweater you need for fall. The Blogger Nation babes and I are teaming up one last time this season to style pieces from Sage Threads & Co. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Sage several times now, and it is the best online boutique! If you are in the Austin area, she has a shop there too. I’ve discovered some great brands through the site like Knotted Sisters and Gentle Fawn. She also carries Free People and some seriously good denim lines (Blank NYC, Levi, Articles of Society, etc). This criss cross Free People sweater is so flattering (even on my bump), and I love the detail on the sleeves too. It’s a great tunic style length. You can see how Jenna styled it here. Although it’s too hot here for me to wear this just yet, it has me itching for fall!!
I hope you all had a great weekend! I had another baby shower to attend for a friend (so fun!), and it was also my parents 40th wedding anniversary. Isn’t that amazing?! I have the best family, and I am so thankful for parents who are committed to each other and have shown me how to love, not just in words but in action. Not too many people get to say their parents have been married for 40 years. The older I get, my gratefulness for them just increases. They have been so supportive of Russ and me in each stage of life, especially as we walked through infertility. I don’t know what I would do without them!

It IS far too hot to walk around in anything covered up right now but you’re right, Amy, that sweater is really quite epic. The neckline. Those sleeves. Cue sigh of longing.
wow I really love the detail on that sweater – i didn’t notice before! Also congrats on your parents anniversary- it is rare these days to see people stay married so long and it really is inspiring. So glad you have that support – what a blessing! And also – you are such a cute preggo! xx

Super cute sweater! Definitely a fall staple and great for any collection. I wish it was getting cooler here, I cannot wait to wear sweaters. Unfortunately we have another two months left of summer in Arizona!
