How to Wear the Sneaker Trend

I love the sneaker trend. I mean, what woman doesn’t want comfy shoes to be all the rage? Even as a fashion obsessed person, I have wondered how to wear the sneaker trend. Somehow it seems like a cool girl look I cannot quite achieve, so I did some research (aka Pinterest searching). 1. Don’t over think it. Add sneakers to any outfit without worrying whether or not they “go.” Part of the trend is that people are wearing them with everything. I had to remind myself of this.
2. The majority of times I have seen sneakers done well, the outfit itself isn’t over the top. Think basic items with the fashionable part being the shoes.
3. Do the unexpected. My personal favorite way to style sneakers is with a dress or skirt. It’s the opposite pairing of casual and dressy that makes it cool.
