I’m thrilled to have an Uptown Cheapskate in Tulsa! Open as of December, this resale concept store is modern and stylish. As a fashion lover on a budget, I often take the clothes I no longer wear into a resale shop as well as shop around for new things. It accomplishes several things: my closet never gets too full, I can make a little money, and I can shop for great deals. Recycling clothes is a great way to practice conscious consumerism.
Uptown Cheapskate is a national concept with branches all over. You bring your clothes in and get money on the spot. If you decide to put the money on your account to shop with rather than get a check, you get a higher percentage per item. They take clothes, shoes, workout gear, and accessories for both men and women (no kids). Today I am sharing my first look with you from Uptown Cheapskate in Tulsa. I was able to snag five items to create two whole outfits for only $75 with great brands like Gap, Asos, and The Limited. How amazing is that?! I’ll be sharing the second look tomorrow for a special Thursday post. Today you can enter to win one of two $25 gift cards to Uptown Cheapskate in Tulsa. Just think how much you can get with that money!

this is gorgeous , love the whole look. I need a store like that
I have never heard of them but I have always loved this concept, sort of like Plato’s closet. You got so many great things for a huge fraction of the price. That cozy oversized cardigan is by far my favorite though.
Great look! Love your white coat!!

You really can’t beat some of the incredible finds you can discover in a store like that! I love the outfit you put together.
If I didn’t like at the other side of the continent, I would enter 😉

Something About That
I love selling my old clothes as well, though I’ve found they usually do better online than in consignment stores. Wish I could enter this giveaway haha!
