Green and tan is one of my favorite color combinations. I put this pretty olive green blouse on my Christmas list, and my mother-in-law was nice enough to snag it for me. I couldn’t wait to wear it. The draping and material are just so nice. I added this cute tie wrap coat. It’s almost a fleece like material, and I totally feel like I am getting away with wearing a robe in public. PSA: these fringe boots I have literally worn all fall and winter are on sale! Evidence here, here, and here (and those are just the times they made the blog).
I wore this to work on a casual Friday with dark skinny jeans. While I loved the look, it felt a little too put together. Know what I mean? I like to be girly every once in a while, but most of the time I like a little edge to my outfits. I swapped my dressier denim for a ripped pair as soon as I was off the clock. It’s amazing what a difference the type of denim/shoes/accessories you pick make to an outfit.
If you read Monday’s post, you know I tried to sneak in some photos before the bad weather hit. It was starting to rain, so we didn’t get as many good shots as usual. Also, totally why I am holding my hair in all these. Oklahoma is windy y’all!

That blouse is gorgeous. I love the peplum flare. Hope to find it at BR. And yet another great coat/coatigan. I must try tan and olive.
P.S. Your hair looks great!
Loving this color combo on you and those amazing jeans! And you would never know it’s windy- I look like I’m in a wind tunnel on a slightly breezy day with this hair. Happy Friday! XX

I like the total outfit except this ripped jeans. They ruin this simple elagance! But don’t worry,I am maybe, too old for ripped jeans.

In love with this whole outfit! I’m not typically a fan of fringe boots, but the way you styled yours may make me a believer!

I love that olive green blouse! Plus, any coat that feels like a robe has to be the definition of perfect.
Your olive blouse is lovely! I like the pleated peplum detail on the bottom. So nice of your mother in law to get it for you! 🙂
Your coat looks so cosy and comfortable too 🙂

Looks great, and I understand what you mean about too perfect. The ripped jeans definitely adds a more down-to-earth look to the outfit :3

What a beautiful shade of green your top is and it looks great on you. Green used to be one of my favorite colors and I have not been wearing it for a while, now I am inspired 🙂 Love those booties too.

I had to come see this look after I saw it on your IG feed. Love that soft, gorgeous coat, and your whole outfit including the olive wishlist top you got from your Mother-in-law. Your hairstyle is very modern and chic too. LOVE! XOXO, Elif

Always so beautiful. What a nice mother-in-law you have 😉 Sounds like she really gets you now doesn’t she? Sorry to hear about the bad weather in OK, but I think we are going to be getting our first storm of the season soon! I love this more relaxed boyfriend destroyed denim that you are wearing here. Always drawn to women with sophistication and a bit of an edge!
