I’m sorry if your Instagram feed and blog feed is bombarded by the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale lately and you are over it. Honestly if you feel that way I totally get it. For me, I love it! It makes me excited for fall plus basically gives me a fall wardrobe at a major discount. I also really hope to help you all shop more easily. I’ve shared a sneak peek, a try on session, and I am back today sharing a styled outfit with some of the pieces I bought.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2019 Styled Outfit
This lightweight cream cardigan ($39.90) is my favorite of the sale. I bought one by this brand, Chelsea28, last year, and I just love it! I’m wearing the size XS/S, and it is plenty roomy/oversized. The neutral color will go with anything. My exact cami is form last year, but they brought it back this year here (almost sold out) and here. Such a great wardrobe staple for layering! My jeans are the AG Farrah high rise with a raw hem ($149.90) and so flattering! They were my main splurge of the sale and are about $75 off the regular price. Jeans run TTS and are incredibly soft. They stretch without stretching out. My sneakers ($59.90) are the wedge Steve Madden, and I am OBSESSED with these! So comfy and run TTS. I also took a pic below with my suede jacket ($125.90) that I’ve had for years and love!! It’s back this year in a slightly updated version. If you buy one thing, I recommend it most.

Hand Tied Hair Extensions – New Hair!!
You may notice a little something different about my hair. If you have been following along on Instagram then you know I got hair extensions last week. I have very thin hair naturally that honestly won’t grow past my shoulders. I have always wanted to try extensions. My amazing hair dresser turned good friend Lindsey Jessogne had some extra hair and was nice enough to let me try them out. She did one row with four wefts using the hand tied method.
You guys, I am in love!! I have seriously never loved my hair more or been more happy with it. It is just enough thickness and length to still feel and look natural on me while also being manageable. It’s been almost a week now. I have slept on it and washed it once. Sleeping on it does not bother me at all. It did take me longer to blow it dry but shorter to curl it because I didn’t have to try so hard to make it look thick if that makes sense?? In the past I have had to work really hard to get lots of curls and volume where that is now actually a reality! If you are in Tulsa, go see Lindsey. She is AMAZING!
