TGIF everyone! Even though Denver was fun, I did work off and on all weekend. I am ready for a true weekend. I wanted to share a great outfit for work. This faux suede skirt from Choies (only $23!) is really nice. I was a little nervous about ordering a suede pencil skirt online that wasn’t easily returnable, but it turned out perfectly. I paired it with similar grey hues and cognac accessories to achieve a monochrome grey look. This sweater has such a fun hem (Warning: it is a little itchy, so an undershirt is required.), and I liked how the trench coat (under $30!) added another fun grey tone. Trench coats are very poplar this season and make for such a great layer. I’ve been eyeing these fringe booties for what feels like ages, and I finally took the plunge. I love how they look with a skirt, but I cannot wait to pair them with jeans! I’m also wearing my necklace from Lydell NYC that I forgot on my last post. Whoops… Never fear, you can get 25% off your order with the code straighta25. They have some great things!

I can’t help it, I just love monochrome looks! Love the different textures on this all grey outfit.
Your fringe booties are beautiful and I love the grey on grey look. Such a great look for the office!
I had to stop myself on a pair of heels last week because it would cost me over $60 to return back to the USA. So annoying. I really wanted them but wasn’t sure about sizing. Shame. Luckily for you that skirt worked out well! As much as I adore online shopping, sometimes returns aren’t so easy. Especially when they have oceans to cross.
Brown and gray are a beautiful combo. Love love love that sweater, too!

It definitely can be a drawback ordering clothing items online when you are not sure how they will fit and they end up fitting improperly and are not easy to send back so you are lucky that this piece worked out so brilliantly for you! It looks amazing on you and I love how you have paired the skirt as well. Really hope you get to finally take it easy this weekend!
