Looking to add some variety to your work wardrobe? Do you have black work pants that you need some inspiration on how to wear? Today I am sharing 4 ways to style black work pants. These are general outfit formulas that you can easily take to your closet and style with pieces you have. In this post I am wearing these $20 pants from Walmart, and I could not recommend them more highly!!
4 Ways to Style Black Work Pants
1. Pair Your Black Work Pants with a Bright Colored Blouse
I love wearing bright colors! This gorgeous $20 pink blouse will go with anything! I have paired it with jeans (regular and black) before as well as these work pants. It’s such a chic combo, but any bright colored blouse will do!
2. Add a Fun Cardigan
We all love cardigans for those chilly offices! I love the idea of a leopard print cardigan for a little fun print, but a striped cardigan or even a solid colored one in something other than black to add a little visual interest is great! My exact cardigan is this super soft $7 eyelash leopard one. I paired this look with my favorite Sam Edelman mules. These look so much like the much pricier Gucci pair and are sooo comfy! I highly recommend them.
3. Style with a Classic Black Blazer
When considering how to style your black work pants, a black blazer (or ay color blazer), is always a good idea! I have had this exact blazer for years and it just never goes out of style! Here’s a great option if you are on the lookout. I paired my blazer with this gorgeous rose lace blouse. If it looks familiar, that is because I have the white version seen here and it’s by my favorite brand, WAYF, that I talk about all the time. Soooo good! To make this look winter work friendly, I paired my pants with a black sock style boot like this one.
4. All Black
All black is always a good idea and so easy! I love this black ruffle sweater. The ruffle adds a lot. It’s also fun to add a little print in your shoe to keep things from looking to monochrome or dull.
