I’m super excited to share this amazing Amazon long sweater blazer coatigan. They seem to have so many names, I never know what to call it, ha! I’ve had the J.Crew Ella sweater blazer for a couple years now. It is a cult favorite and for good reason. I couldn’t wait to try this Amazon version to see how it compared. And let me tell you – wow! I cannot believe how much I like it or how similar it is to the real deal.
Amazon Long Sweater Blazer Coatigan Details
The weight and fabric of the coatigan so high quality. I highly recommend it!! It comes in 20 colors and is a total outfit maker! You can wear it over leggings, jeans, or work pants. It’s so easy to just mix and match what you put underneath and create so many different outfits. I styled my camel one 6 ways here for some inspiration. As for sizing, I am wearing the XS here as I expected it to be bigger. I actually wish I had gotten my true small for a slightly more oversized fit.
J.Crew Coatigan
Here is my J.Crew coatigan to compare. As you can tell, they look super similar! This is the XXS for comparison, and I think it is a little bigger/longer. I would say it definitely runs large. The overall look and material are very similar though. Which would you pick?

I have the J.Crew one and it’s definitely not worth the price difference if the Amazon dupe is actually this similar. You should check out sailor piece codes for beginners if you’re looking for other ways to save cash on hobbies.
Honestly, the Amazon version looks identical to the J.Crew one. I might grab it for those days when my menstrual cycle phases make me want to wear nothing but oversized layers.
