I thought it might be fun to do a roundup of the jeans I am wearing right now. You can catch the video version on my recent reel here. Jean trends have just changed so much over the past few years, and to be honest it has taken me some time to find some pairs I really like. I think I am finally there AND in several style/categories. Yay!
Jeans I am Wearing Right Now – Slim Straight
First up are my favorite slim straight pairs of jeans. If you are still adjusting away from skinny jeans, this is where I would recommend starting. Find a slim straight pair of jeans you like. My first and probably forever favorite is Madewell’s perfect vintage. They come in different rise options (regular and mid-rise) and different inseam and size options: petite, tall, regular, and plus. Win! They are super flattering and a great all around jean. I am wearing them below in the distressed version and the white jean. I have also worn them on the blog over and over throughout the years as I own them in multiple washes. 🙂 They also make a perfect vintage straight now too which is slightly wider.
If you are new to Madewell, their jeans typically run a little big. I am wearing a size 25 which is pretty much what I always wear there.
The second picture below is a newer pair – the H&M mom jean. They have a slightly tapered leg, and I really like them. They run true to size to slightly small. I am wearing a size 2. They are a great all around jean that you can wear so many ways.
Jeans I am Wearing Right Now – Colored Jeans
As I mentioned in my post on Wednesday, colored jeans are really having a moment! Since I already devoted a whole post to my pink jeans, I won’t add them here again. I will mention the best white jeans EVER! I have had this Madewell perfect vintage pair since 2021, and they are still going strong. I just love them so much! They are thick and non see through. They are not skinny and too tight but also not a wide leg. I just love them! If you are in the market for a pair, give these a try.
Jeans I am Wearing Right Now – Straight Leg
I bought this pair of Levi’s Ribcage ankle straight at the start of this past fall season, and they were easily my most worn jean. I’m obsessed! They are the best blue color and literally go with everything! I buy them on the Levi’s site so I can get the longer inseam. There are also more color options there though I have found some colors have different denim composition. I’ve worn them with sneakers, mules, sandals, and boots. Highly recommend!!
Next up are the Agolde 90’s pinch waist jeans. I scored their pair new with tags on Poshmark recently and was so pumped!! I have another pair of these I have owned for years I got through a collab that I have just never loved the wash on as much. However, they are such a good style. They have a longer inseam, so my shorter friends might need to hem them. I really love the Agolde brand. This leg line is really flattering. I love it with chelsea boots for winter or a sneaker.
Last but not least are my Abercrombie ankle straight jeans. This is another pair I have had for a while now and always loved. They are a thinner denim and super flattering. For some reason this pair has some distressing on the back of the ankle that bugs me, but otherwise I love them. I am wearing the long length here. Like the others, these look great with ankle boots, sneakers, or sandals.
