How to Wear White Sneakers

Love the easy casual look of sneakers with an outfit but just not sure how to do it? Well today I am breaking down how to wear white sneakers from dressy to casual! You’ll get 15 different outfit examples with easy how to tips!

In the majority of the photos I am styling my Veja sneakers. They are without a doubt my most worn shoes. They just seem to go with everything! In case you missed it, you can see my full review of them here. TIP: whatever shoe you pick here, you are looking for a white leather or faux leather sleeker shoe that will pair well with dresses and jeans alike. The point is a sleeker, versatile sneaker not a running/workout type shoe. I’ll link everything I can clothing wise, but some of these photos are older.

How to Wear White Sneakers

1. Pair White Sneakers with Jeans and a Blouse, Casual Top, Sweater, or Blazer

First up is the easiest and most common pairing. Style your sneakers with your favorite jeans and a blouse, casual top, sweater, or even a blazer. Anything goes here! TIP: pairing them with a dressier blouse or blazer purposely makes the look more casual while a more casual top feels like a more natural pairing. Making this decision kind of gives the whole vibe of your outfit here.

2. Try and Wide Leg Jean or Pant

Wide leg jeans and pants are really having a moment right now! I wear sneakers with them almost exclusively. I think it is my all time favorite shoe with this silhouette. Even a dressier wide leg pant looks great with a white sneaker. I know I do have on a chunkier pair in the third picture below, but I would not swap it out in my other looks. 3. A Short Sleeve or Long Sleeve Dress

Similar to pairing them with a blouse and jeans, sneakers look great with a short sleeve or long sleeve dress and lend a more casual vibe. TIP: anytime you would wear a sandal or boot, you can swap for a sneaker. This goes for a short, midi, or maxi dress. This works out so well if you happen to be doing lots of walking.

4. Sleeveless Dress + Layer

In my opinion the look of a sleeveless dress with a close toed sneaker doesn’t make much sense. A warmer shoe with a summer sundress doesn’t make as much sense style wise. TIP: I think you need a layer with this style dress to make the overall look cohesive. I love a dress like this with a jean jacket. It’s not only super cute but it also stretches your closet!

5. Athleisure

When considering how to wear white sneakers, athleisure is a no brainer! TIP: I love swapping my Nikes or more workout style shoe for my sleeker, dressier sneakers to give my athleisure outfits a more daytime cool look as opposed to a just came from the gym look.

6. Shorts

Last but not least in my list of how to wear white sneakers is with shorts! This is also an easy one because shorts are usually naturally pretty casual.
