This whole outfit is from Madewell, and I have been wearing it on repeat! Especially the jeans and sneakers. If you have been keeping tabs on internet fashion, there has been a funny buzz about denim lately. Gen Z says skinny jeans and side parts are out. This sparked a strong reaction from my generation and older with our love of all things skinny jeans! So which are you: team skinny or team straight? Are skinny jeans really out of style and what jeans are in style for 2021? Well, personally I will always love skinny jeans, and I will always be a proponent of dressing in what you like best. Additionally, I think you should dress in the way that most flatters your body as you will feel the most confident that way. That being said, I also love straight leg jeans as evidenced by my post about how to wear straight leg jeans with boots which is one of my most popular posts! Today, I thought I would share a pair of straight leg jeans I am loving!
Straight Leg Jeans I am Loving – Madewell Perfect Vintage
My jeans are the perfect vintage jeans in fior wash. If you’re a Shopbop fan like me, they have some of their denim available. You can find the whole line via the Madewell website. I LOVE the perfect vintage fit, and you can trust me when I say I have tried A LOT! It’s a slim straight leg with some stretch which is the ideal combination in my opinion. I am wearing the regular length, but they come in petite, tall, and plus which I think is awesome. They do have darker washes available as well if you prefer that option. I plan to write a post all about are skinny jeans really out of style and dish on some good jean styles for 2021. Stay tuned!
Colorful Madewell Sneakers
I have been wearing these colorful Madewell sneakers non-stop since I got them! The thick sole is really comfortable, and they are just so fun! I like that I can wear them with jeans and with leggings to easily transition to a walk with the girls. They do come in a TON of colors if you like the style, but he bright color isn’t for you. I got the size I usually get in a sneaker, and they are perfect.

Super cute outfit, Amy Ann! I am team “Wear whatever makes you happy”! The cool thing about this current era is that there are so many different style genres that we can incorporate into our looks for unique and creative combinations. With every different style of denim available to us, we should all be wearing whatever works best for us. I will keep wearing skinny jeans and side parts as well! But I do sometimes like a fun middle part and wide legged denim. Nobody can tell me what I can and cannot wear! Haha. Great post.
