Recent Loungewear & Athleisure Favorites

Hello! Today I am bringing you all my recent loungewear and athleisure favorites! I don’t know about you, but I have been living in this type of thing more than ever with COVID plus being pregnant. I have SIX easy and affordable non-maternity pieces to share with you below! Kind of an update to my post about my favorite stay at home comfy outfits.

Target Soft Shorts

This pair of soft shorts from Target has probably been my favorite. At only $15, the material is SUPER soft. The waist is stretchy with a tie. It works perfectly under my bump but would also be great pulled up higher on your waist as shown online. I sized up to a medium for my bump.

Old Navy Joggers

I have actually had these joggers for well over a year, and I have a grey pair as well. You know it is good when you order two colors! What I really love about them is they are not a sweatpant material. I feel like that makes them both more comfortable and more versatile to wear out of the house. They are called “breath on” and are more of a jersey type fabric. They come in 5 colors including a similar pink this year.

Leopard Pajama Pants

I was desperately in need of a pair of pj pants that actually fit right now without cutting off my circulation around my bump. 😉 Though the leopard is currently sold out (tear), these jersey knit $18 pants come in several solid colors too. I cannot recommend them enough if you are looking for a comfy pant for around the house. I sized up to a medium though I tried the small and it worked too. I’m wearing them below my bump, and there is actually a tie on the inside.

The Best Athletic Shorts for $20

Again, my shorts both for inside the house and out were all getting too tight. Ivy Jean and I play outside a lot, and we also take a lot of family walks. I wanted an affordable and cute pair of shorts for this season in life. This pair is $20 and amazing! They have a wide waistband making them super bump friendly. I also discovered you can fold the band down too. I personally love high waisted things, so I am excited to wear them after baby too. They do come in a mid-rise without the band too. The hem and overall look is very much like a Lululemon pair for a fraction of the price.

Soft Lounge Shorts

I feel like lounge shorts like this pair are really having a moment right now! I loved the color of this pair. They are a bit more expensive, but I am also linking some more affordable alternatives below too.

Bike Shorts, aka Summer Leggings

Have you tried bike shorts yet? Bike shorts, aka “summer leggings,” started trending last season and have only picked up steam this year. If you have been hesitant to give them a try, I recommend at least trying a pair on. With a longer graphic tee, they are super comfy and offer more coverage than traditional shorts which I appreciate. Though I have tried others, I really like the American Eagle versions best – stretchy but hold you in too. This is my exact pair, and they are a bit longer/higher waisted than others. Pink is sold out. 🙁
