Work to Weekend

February 27, 2017

I am all about pieces that serve multiple purposes and are affordable. It’s hard for me to buy anything for a single serve use. When Banana Republic sent me these chic pants, I knew they would be the perfect work to weekend piece. Their slim fit and dark color make them super versatile. I paired them with this pleated peplum tank with an asymmetrical hem (obsessed!), a classic heeled sandal, and my all time favorite leather moto jacketΒ (on sale for $60!!!) for a weekend look.Β I actually wore this exact outfit with a blazer and slides for my first day back to work. Changing up the shoes and outwear made for such an easy transition.

Let’s talk affordability. My jacket is on sale for only $60. My tank is $70. The pants and heels are just over $100. I rarely buy anything over $50-$75 if I am being honest with you. Banana Republic is always running great sales. Just last week everything on their site was 40% off, making everything in this look $70 or under. For the quality of the pieces, that just cannot be beat.

So what about you? What things do you look for when shopping?

I really love the mixture of the girly peplum with the leather jacket. And those pants are such a pretty shade of blue!

Such cute pants, and I love how you added a little edge with the leather and heels! I also can’t believe the price of your jacket, it looks like a designer piece.
