I found the skirt you need for fall (shop here)! It comes in two colors: rust/burnt orange and burgundy. It is corduroy and long enough on me to not feel immodest. Plus, it is only $30 and almost always on sale for some percentage off that price. I ordered both colors because I wanted to see them in person to decide. Then I ended up keeping both… It is that good!! I love the pocket detailing too. I took a full blog set in one, and I have snapped an iPhone pic in the other. I will share both today so you can see them as well as two styling options. Both would actually make really great Thanksgiving outfits even though it is super early to think about that.
Look #1 – Rust with Blouse & Ankle Booties
I adore this top!! It is selling out quickly, so I would add it and the skirt to your online order. I love how the polka dot paired with the color of the skirt. I am wearing a size small in the top because that is what they had in stock. I sometimes wear a small and sometimes an XS at Old Navy. While the top is a little roomy, I ended up liking the fit. I loved styling this with my ankle boots for a fun date night with Russ. The whole look has a fall feel but overall was actually really cool for warmer temps since it is a above the knee skirt, short sleeve lightweight top, and ankle boots. Perfect fall transition outfit!
Look #2 – Burgundy Skirt with Sweater & Tall Boots
I don’t even know who we are, but we got two date nights recently! I wore one skirt one time and the other the next. We got to join some friends to see Hamilton last minute and went to dinner after a church leader training the other time. It was surprisingly cool the night I wore this look, low 70s. I knew it would be cold in the theater too, so I took advantage and wore this fall outfit. My sweater is so great with the neat sleeves and square neck, and these are my Nordstrom sale boots I love!
