Midi Moment

May 11, 2015

I loved this J.Crew skirt the second I saw it. Truth be told, I’ve been on a little bit of a midi skirt kick (here, here, and here). When the weather starts to get warm, I’m all like “where are my skirts and dresses at?!” Midi skirts are so great because they don’t leave you all worried about showing too much thigh. And they are comfortable. Back to this J.Crew one. I mean, it’s a midi, it’s stripes, it’s neutral colors, and it has an elastic waistband (can I get an amen?). I stalked it until it went on sale (which it still is) and snapped it up. My mom actually helped me track it down in-store when it sold out online (it’s back now) because that’s what family is for right? Apparently, I am on a kick with parenthesis today.

In case you haven’t noticed, I am having a lot of fun with my sunglasses lately. I don’t mean to be pushy or anything (okay, maybe I do), but if you haven’t signed up for Ditto’s Endless Eyewear Program yet, you really should. I didn’t realize it would be so awesome to swap out designer sunglasses any time I wanted! Currently, I have a funky colored Ray-Ban pair perfect for the beach. Beautiful look again, so simple and slick. I’m a big fan of midi skirts myself. Love that you kept accessories to minimum but showcased that pop of yellow.

I really need to give mid-length skirts a chance. I have suggested some of my clients to get one, but I have yet to get one for myself. You look awesome in this skirt, you really do!

I feel like the length of the midi skirt is so awkward on me, but it looks amazing on you <3

I love midi skirts too! They are just so feminine, and remind me of a different era when women were much more conservative (but glamorous) in my opinion. You look gorgeous!

I love that midi skirts save you from worrying about showing too much leg haha! That’s one of the best parts about them. This one is simple and perfect, and I love that little floral clutch you added.
