I am so excited to be sharing about a really neat concept by Spark*l, upcycled Louis Vuitton Apple Watch bands. Founder Courtney started designing leather bands and wanted to find a way to provide more stylish options than what she saw in the market. I’ve gotten to know her through Instagram, and she is truly the kindest!! One of the joys of working in the social media world is getting to meet women who are truly kind, amazing business women, and whose companies are doing something cool and unique.
Upcycled Louis Vuitton Apple Watch Bands
I love that Spark*l upcycles bags – they have Louis Vuitton, Fendi, and Gucci – to make really amazing leather backed apple watch bands. I have the thinner one pictured below in the azur, but she also offers the Damier color as well as a thicker wrap style. They also come in bands for fitbits. Besides the designer names, Spark*l makes really neat leather bands too. You can get 10% off your order with the code “straightastyle” too. The good news continues! Tonight at 8:00 pm central, I am teaming up with Spark*l and several other amazing bloggers to give away $500 in credit to the site! Be sure to follow along on Instagram where the giveaway will happen.
I am wearing my trusty favorite white jeans you have seen over and over here. They were part of my capsule wardrobe collection and are only $35 but often go on sale for even less. This blue top is the exact same one I have shared before in white and just love! Blue and white will forever be one of my favorite spring color combinations. My shoes are a See By Chloe pair from Shopbop I have had since last year. That is one of my favorite brands if you haven’t noticed… I have a bit of an addiction. The backs of these are a little tough. I am still working to soften them up/break them in. I think I wish I had sized up.
Fake Hair Braid
Believe it of not, my hair braid is fake!! It’s a headband. I saw on another blogger that she was wearing one and immediately ordered a similar one. Mine is $13 on Amazon, and I am wearing the dark blonde. I also ordered the honey blonde thinking that is the one I would need. It was way too light. The dark blonde looks darker when it arrives. I actually thought after trying on the lighter one that I had misordered and neither would work. I was laughing to myself that I didn’t know my hair color. Somehow when I tried the dark blonde on it magically blends perfectly. I went to a girls dinner wearing it. It was hysterical, all my friends passed it around and tried it on. It mysteriously fit so many of my friend’s blonde shades! My hair is thin and short, so I have always wanted to be able to have a braid!
