I am soooo excited about today’s post because for the first time ever my ADORABLE niece Caroline is joining us to share some Easter outfit ideas for the whole family. Caroline is seven, and she and Ivy Jean love to wear matching clothes. If you have girls, this post is for you! It is so fun to have them wear matching looks for special occasions.
Caroline was the first baby in our family, and honestly, one of the biggest reasons I knew I wanted to be a mom. I loved her as a niece more than I thought possible. Knowing that helped me realize I would probably love my own children even more and gave me confidence I needed. Being an aunt is truly the best! We took these photos over the weekend, and she stayed the night with us. She has grown up into the most amazing young lady before my very eyes, and Ivy Jean could not adore her any more. Seriously, she cried and cried when she left. She has a great role model in her cousin.
Easter Outfit Ideas for the Whole Family
My sister, mom, and I had a lot of fun looking for dresses for these cute girls. In the end, we picked these tulle embellished ones. I love that Easter gives us a chance to get dressed up and celebrate all Christ has done for us. You know I love a good dress! I’ll link their dress and others we looked at below. We found the fun bunny ears at Target which would be so fun for an Easter basket. If you’re local, I bought Ivy Jean’s shoes at Lolly Garden in Utica Square.
My dress is this gorgeous lilac purple one for only $78. I love the simple sheath style with the bow back detailing. It does run large. Since it isn’t fitted, I recommend sizing down one. I also love the floral maxi dress I posted here as an Easter option if you prefer longer. I’ll link some other gorgeous options for you below almost all of which are under $100 too!
Sweet Russ has turned into such an amazing photographer! Poor guy never actually gets in the photos despite my love for family photos. He had the camera all set, and we asked Caroline to snap a couple of us. She did great! I am thrilled to have a family photo. He is wearing his favorite retailer for shirts, J.Crew. The mint is perfect for Easter! He also really loves these Bonobos chinos for a slim fit khaki. They fit really nicely and come in multiple colors.

They’re adorable.
I recently purchased a dress from Chicwish that you featured. Although it is lovely, it doesn’t work for me, and I need to return it. It came with no invoice/billing nor instructions as to how to return. Can you please advise me on this. Thanks.
Such a sweet post… you are bursting with affection and love I can feel it! I like that your husband finally joined in on the photo at the end of the post. My husband takes a lot of my photos and is never in them either! One of these days… maybe we will do an Easter family shoot too 🙂

I can’t take all this cuteness! You are all just adorable! My girls love to match, too. I hope it continues! Now it’s hard to find them matching items because my oldest wears girls sizing and my youngest is in toddler. I’ll have to look at these ones!
Could this post be any more adorable?! I love the Easter dresses you pick out for Ivy Jean and Caroline, they look so cute. I also love seeing Ivy Jean’s personality come out in the pictures. Thanks for sharing with us! Hope you’re having a great start to the week.

Beautiful photos! Thanks for sharing. Your family is gorgeous and the addition of your niece is so fun.
I love a good dress as well, and I’m also wondering about some less gender specific looks for girls. Not all girls love “girly” (whatever that really means) clothing or looks.
Maybe something for future posts?
This is so adorable! Both girls look so cute and so happy! It’s obvious Ivy Jean adores her cousin and I love their matching outfits!
You look fabulous in this lilac dress too!
