Without a doubt I think the most flattering style dress is a long maxi with a defined waist and a v-neck. I think defining your waist, elongating your neck/body through a v-neck, and hiding any imperfections in your hips/middle/legs is the way to go when it comes to flattering and feeling comfortable. This is almost always the style I pick when we take family photos or I have a wedding/event I want to both look good at and feel comfortable.
Maxi Dress Details – Perfect for Easter
My exact dress is from Chicwish for only $69. Would this not be the perfect Easter dress?? It’s lined but a bit low cut. I wore my lowest bra, and it did not show. I think I might add a cami or have it pinned at the tailor for Easter. The floral print and pockets sold me! If you haven’t shopped at Shopbop much, they are one of my all time favorite retailers for dresses. They carry an amazing amount of brands with really unique pieces and styles. You can shop similar options to this dress here. I do recommend hunting around a little as they carry some higher end designers. However, they also have some more affordable brands I love, so you can find some really great pieces.
Shoes & Bag Details
My exact shoes are from last season. This is the make of them for the current season, and I could not recommend them more! They are the perfect heel height and color for spring and summer occasions. My purse is the Tory Burch wallet on a chain bag, and I love it. It’s another piece I have had for a while, but is still available. It’s been a great investment as it is the perfect event/evening bag. As an evening bag, it is elegant, versatile with the strap, and holds everything. The interior has a built in wallet so you don’t have to add yours and take up space leaving you room for your phone and lipstick. The chain is removable too.
