This pom pom sweater has become one of my favorite things lately! Isn’t it just so fun? I love how it pairs with my black jeans and Gucci dupe slides for an easy casual look. It also comes in a more taupe version too. I wore this exact look for a casual day at work and have also worn this with my family. Speaking of family, we went to my nieces basketball game this weekend which was really fun. We are fortunate to have great family on both sides and really enjoy spending time with them.
I recently went through and archived some super old posts on the blog in an effort to make it run a little faster. I never imagined I would be a fashion blogger. When I started blogging in 2010, it was about anything and everything. It is embarrassing actually to look back on the quality. If you hit back enough those posts were still available until just now – yikes! I guess things have evolved quite a bit since then so the quality isn’t something I should be too embarrassed about. Anyway, there are some real gems back there. Some writing that shows I was a lot more open with myself and thoughts. As times has gone on, and this blog has grown, I think I have closed off in some ways. I’m not sure how to balance sharing about clothes and myself or what everyone wants to hear. Sometimes I do a better job of it than others. I’m often just too in my head about it, something I have a tenancy to do. Anyway, I’d love to hear any of your thoughts about what you might like to read/hear from me.

The pom poms are such a fun detail, but I love that they’re sort of subtle too. As for old posts…*sigh*. I should go back and start archiving too, but sometimes it actually feels painful because of how cringe worthy old posts are LOL. I’ve been reading your blog for a while, and equally love the fashion and the parts of your life you choose to share. I think it can be hard to find a balance, but I think you do a great job.

I think you already do a great job of balancing fashion + real life! I don’t think you need to change a thing unless you want to or are feeling inspired to do so for one reason or another. And funny that you just went through and archived some old posts…I did the same last week! LOL! There were two old posts I just could NOT stand having up anymore. LOL. There are more but I’d have to go digging and didn’t want to spend anymore time in Cringeville.

My blog started out as a mom blog with a few other moms in my birth month on Babycenter! None of them blog anymore and now I blog part-time! Crazy how things change. I always love hearing more about your life, it’s fun to get to know you a little better! I think that is why IG Stories is so popular, too… we get to see inside peoples lives a little more. I should probably take your lead and archive some of my old posts, too! It’s hard not be embarrassed about our old content but it just shows how far we’ve come! A part of me does miss the good old days where there wasn’t so much pressure to plan ‘clickable’ content, though…!
