A Closet Staple – 5 Ways to Wear Flare Jeans + Link Up

October 25, 2017

To me, flare jeans are a closet staple. I got this J Brand pair from ThredUp over 2 years ago. They have the perfect fit and flare shape and have been a key piece in my wardrobe ever since. Don’t get me wrong, I love my skinny jeans, but I think everyone should have a flare pair. They are really flattering and surprisingly versatile. I wear them often to work on casual Friday. I think sometimes shorter people think they cannot wear them, but I actually think it’s the opposite. If you hide a platform underneath, they add length to any leg! Today I am sharing 5 ways to wear flare jeans (the exact same pair for that matter). Are you a flare jean person? I’m linking some great options at all price points below.

The sweater I paired my jeans with in today’s post is sooo good. It’s really soft, has a flattering v-neck, and cool sleeves. They are looser and the top then fitted towards the bottom. I love all the slouchy sweaters that are so popular right now, but more fitted ones like this really are more flattering I think. The color on this one is unique too. I paired it with the ever popular $19 leopard scarf. I’m so excited to add it to my scarf collection. It’s a bit of a problem y’all….

Those jeans look amazing on you! I’ll admit I usually default to skinny jeans.. or boyfriend fit… because flare just intimidates me. Also, totally crushing on those sleeves!

I love all the ways you styled those jeans! You’re making me want to find a replacement for the leopard scarf I have–it’s really thin and small so I rarely wear it. I have a pair of flare jeans but the length isn’t quite right for most of the shoes I have–need to find a better pair!

I really love the sleeves on your sweater too. Xoxo. http://Www.mommyinflats.com

You look soo good in flares, I am majorly jealous! I seriously wish I could pull them off, but I have to have them hemmed sooo much. I love that gorgeous leopard scarf as well!

I am not always a HUGE flair jeans fan (I am still stuck on skinny denim!), but I REALLY love this pair. That sweater looks as soft as you say it is. I love that classic leopard scarf, too!

Such elegant looks! Love flare jeans when paired with a statement sweater or scarf. Those pieces balance out the silhouette of flare jeans beautifully!

I used to have issues with flare jeans because they did make me feel shorter and more stumpy than I already am! But, these look so good on you that I’m tempted to rethink my position!
