Should you try straight leg jeans?
Have you seen them in magazines and on bloggers and wondered? You might be able to tell from these photos that my answer would be an emphatic YES! I happen to love the versatility of the cropped length. Sometimes it can be tricky to find the right pair, so I would encourage you to try on several cuts/styles before giving up. Here’s what I look for: a higher waist, a leg that really is straight (rather than slightly narrowing), and a length that hits just above your ankle rather than higher on the calf (it’s more flattering). I think they look cute with a shirt tucked in or with a slouchy sweater. I also like that I can wear them with sneakers, heels, or ankle boots. How fun is this top?!
