I’ve always been a little afraid of wearing yellow. I just never found it to be the most flattering color, especially as a fake blond with pale skin. Then marigold came along and something in me got a little brave. Maybe it was the cute pom poms on this top (ON SALE!!). Regardless, I am here to tell you why you shouldn’t be scared of marigold. It’s just a happy color. If these photos aren’t proof enough of a pale blonde girl wearing it, it truly is a flattering color.
I loved the way it paired with my grey jeans, but it looks equally as pretty with a true blue denim and it really pops with white jeans for summer too. It you aren’t ready to commit to a whole piece, then snag these adorable earrings. I’ve worn them a ton! You first saw them with my white embroidered top here. I also paired them with my gingham dress here. The marigold is a fun pop of color with any outfit.
If you’re still not convinced (I’ve failed as a blogger…) but you love this shirt as much as I do, it comes in white and gingham.

I agree no one should be afraid of yellow, Marigold or mustard shades look great on light blondes. Funny thing, three tops I picked from the #NSale are all in the mustard/yellow family. Love your tank and those mules!
You look amazing, Marigold is a very suiting color for you! I’m convinced on buying the one I spotted earlier!

That top is so so gorgeous Amy, I am totally sold on the pom-poms as well 🙂 I also think yellow doesn’t suit me with my pale skin and blondish hair, but used to love mustard hues when I was a brunette. I would definitely try the gingham one and maybe even this marigold beauty. So blogger mission accomplished, dear!
Happy weekend

I love that you call this shade of yellow, Marigold. Sounds so much better than Mustard, which is what I’ve been calling it!

I shy away from yellows thinking they will make me pale. But this shade, marigold looks gorgeous.
You’ve convinced me and therefore succeeded as a blogger 🙂
Now I need a top in this color, you look fantastic!
