Looking for an easy 4th of July outfit idea? I’ve got you covered with today’s look. All you need is a striped red and white tee to pair with your favorite blue jeans/shorts and a red lip. If you don’t have a red and white striped tee, you can snag my favorite one on sale here or here. I loved the cropped fit because it pairs so well with high waisted denim. This is the same pair I wore on Monday’s post (outfit repeater!), and they are on major sale.
I wore this exact look to get dessert with Ivy Jean and Russ this weekend at our favorite local bakery. Did you catch my Instagram story? I snapped the cutest pic of the two of them! Ivy is at such a fun stage right now, and we are just soaking it in. One of the main reasons we moved is to be closer to where we both work. We used to live in more of a suburb and moved more to the heart of Tulsa. Our commutes went from 30+ minutes to 5 and 10. Hallelujah! It just so happens to be closer to all our favorite restaurants too. Dangerous! So far we are absolutely loving it. We walked to dinner one night last week which was really fun. We are still unpacking, but it’s slowly starting to feel like home.

Having a shorter commute is totally life-changing. We used to live in DC (where my husband works), but even the reverse commute to VA was rough for me. Now we live just outside and I’m a MUCH happier person. Loving the cute little striped top. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – you always have the best tops!
