Embroidered Skirt and Lace Top

January 4, 2017

You guys I am wearing a skirt! I missed them so much while I was pregnant. You know I am a dresses and skirts kind of girl, so it feels nice to be able to wear them again (in non-stretchy form). This embroidered skirt and lace top made for the perfect combination. I loved the colors and overall vibe. The lace top is so fun, and I look forward to styling it in other ways too. I’ve been really into embroidery lately, so it’s fun to have a piece with it. Both the top and skirt are under $50 which is always nice.

I’ll be real with you, I haven’t actually worn this outfit out in public in real life. If you read my last update, you know I am not getting out much right now. This stage in life just doesn’t scream mini skirts. You better believe the first time Russ and I have a date night, I am breaking this baby out.

This is your best outfit of 2017, so far. Love both the skirt, top and boots. You reminded me that I own a similar serenity/baby blue lace top. This outfit would be perfect for February on a date with Russ. =))
