When I got this pretty mint sweater from Seraphine, I knew a mint and white combination was in my future. I added hints of tan in my vest, favorite bag, and lace up heels. It’s the perfect way to style white jeans for fall.
I’m excited to be joining Laura of Walking in Memphis in Heels and Erin of The Fashion Canvas for their weekly Trend Spin Linkup. It’s usually on Tuesday, but since that isn’t a regular post day for me, I am sharing a little early. The theme is jeans, so be sure to linkup below!
We had a great, low-key weekend with a date on Friday night where I wore this outfit. Did you catch my Instagram story? I found out I do have gestational diabetes. After a bit of crying and Netflix binging (just being real here), I got myself together and met with the diabetes educator. She was seriously so wonderful! She was so reassuring andΒ gave me some great tips and information. We checked my sugars which were great. I think most of what I need to do is work on portion control and curbing my sweet tooth over the weekend. Anyone else always indulge more on the weekend? I have always been interested in nutrition and actually find all of this kind of fascinating. While pricking my finger and not stuffing my face with Halloween candy aren’t fun, the most important thing is keeping the baby healthy. Thank you all for your kind comments and encouragement along the way. You’re the best, and I am thankful to share this crazy and wonderful journey that is pregnancy with you.

So sorry to hear about the GD, but no doubt you’ll handle it well! Even though the amount of candy this time of the year is crazy! Xx

This time of year is definitely the hardest to curb the sweet tooth, Amy–I totally feel for you!
But luckily it’s temporary!!
You look fabulous.
I know you said the sweater is mint—but it almost looks like a sort of monochromatic look today!!
Absolutely fabulous!

I am so sorry that you have gestational diabetes. But the good news is that it can be controlled. Blaire had it and she now has 3 wonderful babies. Just stay strong and know your limitations. You’re doing great, mama!
