How to Style A Floral Dress

You know me and floral dresses. We go together like peanut butter and chocolate. I am floral dress obsessed. So how to style a floral dress? Personally that is what I love about them! Dresses are an outfit all on their own. In my opinion, I think all you need is a good pair of shoes. Sometimes a couple additional accessories are beneficial, especially when it’s sleeveless or you want to add another pop. I loved the white and purple colors in this Banana Republic number. Paired with their denim jacket (so soft) and heels, I feel like I should be headed to high tea or something. My dress and jacket are even on sale! These heels are like the ultimate in flattering your leg line. I’ll be wearing them again more casually in Friday’s post.     I love how you styled this! I think florals can be really tricky…you need relatively neutral and grounded additions to keep them from looking too over the top. The jean jacket and nude heels are spot on!

    I think the dress looks really cool with the denim jacket! I used to wear a lot of floral dresses too but somehow now I am more into monochrome ones – in nice pastel shades of course. I guess pastels are for me what florals are for you 😉
