Red Statement Pants

April 25, 2016

I love wide leg pants and the style nod to the 70s they provide. I’ve been on the lookout for a red pair since I love my striped version so much. Statement pants areย so fun. The great thing is they are totally work appropriate but also fun for brunch, events, and more. I love this pair from Ann Taylor (also available in cream). The lightweight fabric makes them greatย for those fickle spring days. I’ve also been on the hunt for the perfect striped blouse for some time. For stripes to beย such aย popular print, I find it funny how difficult it can be to find the right kind. I personally like a thin, vertical stripe. This navy and cream version is my ideal. Not to mention the ruffle neck detail. I wore this exact outfit to church on Sunday and then to work again on Monday. No Shame! I felt all American in this combo.

Why wear regular pants when you can make a statement? Lol, I’ve totally worn something on Sunday to brunch or an event and then repeated on it on Monday! I love the color of those pants! Wide leg is a great silhouette on you.

Your legs go on for ever, Amy! So jealous. That’s so funny as I’ve done a striped shirt with red jeans today, purely by chance.
Love the shape of your blouse, very elegant yet modern at the same time.

Ha, I love it when I can repeat an exact outfit because I’m wearing it around two completely different groups of people! Not that you need your legs to look any longer, but these pants definitely give you legs for days!
