Favorite Floral Dresses

April 13, 2016

By now you probably know I am a sucker for a good dress. Lately I have been really into retro inspired floral prints (okay retro inspired anything…). Today I am sharing two floralย dresses: one mini and one midi. More recently it has been my WAYF tie back floral mini dress (seen here), my floral midi dress (seen here), my dark floral short dress from Monday’s post, and my floral maxiย (seen here). Hopefully you aren’t bored of all my floral!

Unrelated, I tried a dipped manicure for the first time a couple weeks ago, as seen in the photos with my mini dress. Has anyone tried it? I got a gift card for my birthday from my family which was such a nice treat! It was so interesting to see how the process works. They literally dip your nail in the same powder used for acrylic nails and basically build a nail over yours rather than painting. I love the bold color and the durability, but they do feel a little thick to me. I think next time (if there is one), I’ll ask for them to shape them down a little more. They are like gel nails: last for 2-3 weeks and have to be removed with acetone.

I can’t decide which I like better the sandals or boots – I like them both.

Both are beautiful, but I think my favourite is the dark one. I love that high neckline!

I am loving all the florals you’ve been rocking lately, Amy Ann! These two dresses are beautiful and perfect for the season. I’ve never tried a dipped manicure. Something about the requirement of acetone to remove it turns me off. I know some people love it, though!

Interesting…I’ve never tried that type of manicure before. Looks great! I love both of these dresses, especially the prints. I really love all of your retro-inspired look!

Floral prints for spring are essential! I don’t think I have heard of a dipped manicure? Sounds like something I will have to try!

Yes to floral dresses! I love the combo of a high neck with a shorter hemline. The prints on both your dresses are so pretty ๐Ÿ™‚ Also I have to get my hands on a pair of those espadrilles! Love!

Love the mid-length dress on you, gorgeous! And, a dip manicure? I had no idea there was such a thing, but now I’m intrigued.

The mini dress is my favorite, love the pattern on it and how you styled it. I have never heard of dipped nails, but I haven’t tried gel nails either. I have a pretty good at home system, although I do have a weakness for pedi’s!! 2-3 weeks would be awesome though, I polish mine twice a week if I am lucky!

Both dresses are really pretty, my fav is the mini dress. I don’t put anything on my nails other than clear nail polish so much less maintenance. ๐Ÿ™‚
