Today’s look features an easy comfortable and stylish outfit. Yes, you read that correctly. I’ve never believed style and comfort to be mutually exclusive. This side slit fringe hem sweater was made to be worn with leather leggings, aka God’s gift to women. As long as your tush is covered, leggings have your back (see what I did there). Combined with my faux leather moto jacket, the outfit has a stylish edgy quality to it. All the while I am wearing a loose sweater and leggings. I did opt for a heeled bootie because I just cannot stop wearing this pair (evidence here, here, and here), but this outfit would be equally as great with a flat ankle boot, cool sneakers, or flats to make it even more comfy. What are some of your favorite ways to stay comfy without sacrificing style?
Happy Valentine’s Day weekend everyone! I won’t say anything like “no matter your relationship status, I hope you can celebrate love” because I know this weekend can be painful for some, and things like that can sound hollow even when well intended. I’ve experienced similar comments about infertility. It’s made me so thankful to have a partner like Russ. In a season of pain and longing, it’s so good for me to remember what a great gift I have in him everyday. God gave him to me in high school. I mean, who gets that lucky? At risk of sounding incredibly cliche, I may be waiting for my child, but I didn’t have to wait for the love of my life, and that is not everyone’s story. It does my heart good to remember all I have to be grateful for. I have so much love in my life, whether friends, family, or spouse.

Also, I had to share a quick picture of this fun jacket. I loved the shearling and suede combo and all the great details. It arrived from Choies with this sweater, but unfortunately the belt that is supposed to the on the bottom was missing. Since I got it free, it’s no big deal. I’m just not going to devote a whole post to it, but I did want to share a snap since I think it is fun.
Don’t forget about this awesome giveaway!

Love the different lengths of your layers! What a fab sweater!
This is a very chic outfit that does look comfy Amy Ann. Knowing how difficult it is to have comfort and style together in one look, I love love this. (The faux leather rocks.) Also enjoyed reading about your Valentine’s day thoughts and perspective. I too met my hubby early (ours was in college) and agree that it’s been a gift. Happy new week. XOXO, Elif
Nice layering!

Loving the fringe on your sweater!!
I am in no way a fan of Valentine’s Day…so it’s not exactly my favourite weekend of the year, but I know a lot of people love it, so I just try to stay low key. I hope you’ve been having a fabulous day though!
