That 70s Style

January 18, 2016

During our trip to Dallas, we happened to be in Zara during their sale. Give me all the clothes! Okay, but seriously it was a real struggle to narrow it down. You should have seen the armload I took to the dressing room. I love Zara and wish we had one in Tulsa. I ended up with this skirt, blouse (sold out, similar), culottes, and snakeskin boots which were all on sale. It’s actually all I bought the whole trip. If you haven’t already, I definitely recommend checking out their sale. I’ve got that 70s vibe with my skirt and blouse. I’d wear this type of thing all day everyday.

I mentioned on Friday that I am currently getting in touch with my inner child at Disney World with my mom, sister, and niece. So. Much. Fun. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to spend some fun, quality time with my family. I’ll be less active on the blog this week because of it, but I promise to catch up with you all when I get back. Trying to prepare for a trip when you’re a blogger can be difficult as it never really stops. I wanted to be proactive and take these photos in advance, but it ended up not being the best time. We had freezing weather coming in over the weekend, so we snuck these in after work on Friday. The storm was starting with rain, so it was darker than normal. We didn’t get as many good shots as usual. Sorry!

Amy you do 70’s style so well! Again, so inspired! I adore this blouse and the print. We have a Zara here and now I know where I’m going this week.

These shots turned out perfectly and I really love the location you picked for this outfit. I’ve been trying to find more locations nearby like this, but no luck so far. Especially been looking for covered spots so I can still go shooting when it’s raining.

I absolutely LOVE Zara too and we have it on almost every corner in Helsinki so it’s not that hard to “obtain” myself during the sales because I have most possibly already bought my favorite items right after they came out on the shelves. 😀 Then again, I do always find at least two-three pieces on sales which I have “somehow” missed out on and I just discover them there and then, among the rows and rows of discounted clothes. 😀

You look absolutely smashing’ in this combo!! The suede skirt suit you wonderfully!
