I’m loving all the pinafore style dresses I am seeing lately. Long, short, suede, leather, overall – you name it. I think it is all so fun. I snagged this midi length pinafore dress from Forever21. I thought it would be fun for fall with long sleeves and boots. I piled on some awesome jewelry from Lydell NYC, a company by women for women. Get 25% off your order with the code straighta25. They also are active in a charity called Project Glimmer, which I love. They were kind enough to send me earrings, a bracelet, and the coolest necklace. Of course I forgot to pack my necklace, ugh. It would have been the perfect finishing touch to this look that I wore for dinner in Denver with Leah from Eat Pray Wear Love and Paige and Hailey from The Middle Closet. It was SO fun to meet these ladies. They are seriously even kinder and more beautiful in person than on their blogs. I loved getting to hang out with them and talking blogging and life.
Speaking of hanging out, my sweet hubby came with me to Denver. One of my favorite things about marriage it getting to explore new places with Russ. If you followed blog on Instagram then you already know in between work, we hiked Red Rocks, tried some awesome restaurants, and saw some fun parts of Denver. Thankfully he was there to snap a few blog photos for me too, even if it did get darker earlier than we planned…

OK, i have seen these Pinafore Dresses and want one, but more of the overall style. This one for me, I would probably look silly in it. But you of course you pull it off with your tall and lean frame. Love your new jewelry and how cool of a company that sounds. Even cooler – meeting blogging buddies. I have met two in Michigan so far and one in Europe. Sounds like you had a great time in Denver – one of the best cities in US, in my opinion. =))
