Because Labor Day feels like the official end to the summer and because, if I am being honest with you, I don’t have an actual outfit post ready for today, I thought I would share a summer recap. Summer isn’t always my favorite season to dress for, but I really found myself enjoying it this year. I cannot believe it’s already Labor Day! I hope you all had a great long weekend. Russ’s family was in town visiting, and we loved having them and catching up. Since they live in Alabama, we don’t see them often enough.

I’d love to hear which one of these looks is your favorite. If you are doing any shopping this weekend, there are some great sales out there. I’ve listed a couple of my favorites below. I may have to head to the mall today to do a little shopping myself. I’m a little worried about what I am going to wear in NY. In case you missed my announcement on Friday, I have the good fortune to be heading to NYFW this Thursday. I’m going with my mom, and we are making a girl’s trip out of it. I cannot imagine going with anyone else. My mom is a fellow fashion lover and just so much fun! As soon as I got over my initial excitement, all these insecurities set in. What am I going to wear? Who will I talk to at the events? I’m really just an introverted girl from Oklahoma… etc. I’m working on remembering my worth does not come from these things, trying to be myself, and just enjoying the experience.
