My 70s inspiration continues! I love this pair of flare jeans (last seen here), and I scored the best pair of platforms. This Michael Kors pair is 65% off at Dillards. Of course it’s no longer available online, but I just bought them at my local store. You can also find them on saleย hereย just not quite as much. I paired my flares with the perfect 70s inspired off the shoulder topย (only $14!). Don’t you just love the sleeve detailing? My sole society clutch made the perfect accessory to complete the look. 70s inspiration: flares, platforms, lace/fringe, and big sunglasses. Check! Not going to lie, when I saw these pictures, all I could think was “I should have steamed that top.” If you are distracted by the wrinkles, sorry.
In totally unrelated news. I accidentally did hot yoga this weekend AND NEARLY DIED. Did you know the room is 105 degrees? OMG. I spend my whole summer trying to escape that here in the desert otherwise known as Oklahoma. I had been feeling extra lazy lately, and one of the studios in town does a 1o days for $10 promo. I thought it would be a good way to try it out. I read the class description which sounded great and said nothing about hot yoga. Well that is because idiot me didn’t realize it was a hot yoga studio, so all the classes are hot yoga. I’ve never sweat so much in my life. My hair was literally wet. In all seriousness, it was a great workout, and I am considering going back – on the last day of my hair washing cycle. Let’s be clear because, priorities. Do any of you do do hot yoga?

70’s styles are probably my favorite trend right now. I love how you incorporated a bunch of different 70’s inspired pieces but since it’s modern, none of it looks costumey at all!

I love the 70’s inspiration, flares + platforms are always so flattering paired together, and are one of my favorite looks! To be honest, I probably wouldn’t have noticed the wrinkles because I refuse to act like an adult and am so lazy about wrinkles in my own clothing ha. Also, I’ve never tried hot yoga and it sounds like torture. I’m not even good at yoga, so doing it as I drown in my own sweat probably wouldn’t be good for me personally ๐
That top is too cute!

Wow Amy! You look amazing! This 70’s vibe looks amazing on you! I know they are saying that flared jeans will be in again, but that scares me… eek! I dont think flares ever looked good on my petite frame, and I am scared to be “out of trend” in my skinnies.. whats a girl to do?! Maybe if I tried hot yoga I would feel better in my flares?

You look so cool rocking the 70s trends… love!!!
The hot yoga experience is a bit of a laugh…we all blunder at times, but if you got something out of it, sounds like this was a necessary blunder!! I tried hot yoga a few times… I didn’t get much out of it. I was very bored in the classes… been a couple years though, I’d be down to try it again… but yes, it does get hot in there fast!!!!

You make me want flare jeans ASAP! Cracking up about the hot yoga, totallyyyy me. I’ve never done it but my friend has been insisting I try it sometime. She loves it and said she feels so good after. I’ve agreed to try it, because I can’t say until I try, but I feel like I’d hate it. I hate being hot! And oh yes, it’d have to be the end of my “stretching my hair” period ๐
Love the look Amy Ann, I’m so into the 70s vibe!
I need a pair of flare jeans I tried on like 10 pairs last weekend and they were all soon long lol ! Im on a mission
