I’ve dubbed this the summer I made peace with the strapless bra. I’m sorry I just said that on the internet, but it’s the truth. I’ve always hated them but felt limited in my fashion choices by my hate. I feel like I have grown as a person. I mean, imagine the trends I would have missed out on in this season alone. Off the shoulder, I’m talking to you. Okay, in all seriousness, I realize there are far more important things in the world, but I felt like I needed to fill you in. Plus, I’m so glad I got over my aversion because this might just be one of my favorite outfits of the summer. This striped dress is seriously so chic, and it just feels very me. Don’t even get me started on the fringe heels. I die. I wore this to a fun baby shower over the weekend. I love an excuse to get dressed up!Β

Yep, getting over my strapless bra aversion changed my fashion options in the best way. It doesn’t even bother me to wear one anymore. Those heels really are SO FUN. And I love the print on that dress. There’s a Barcelona cami with an almost identical grid print and of course, it’s calling my name!

I LOVE that you are doing burgundy in the summer! I love the color but I’ve been struggling with feeling to fallish when I wear it. This is totally working. I’ve always hated strapless bras too, I try to deal with them in the name of fashion but, I still don’t like them maybe I’ll come across one that will wash this hatred away for these bra. I’m obsessing over those fringe heels… They are amazing. I’m on a no buy right now so I sadly won’t be getting them, it hurts to type that lol.
Ugh – if only I could find a strapless bra! Like most women, I just can’t stand them, but because I am a large-chested girl, there’s VERY few options out there. Seriously, summer clothes are made for strapless bras, and it’s a real struggle.
This is a really great dress and I’m loving those shoes!
